Xiaojihan coal mine is the subgroup of the Huadian Coal Industry Group Co. Ltd, and itlocated in the Xiaojihan County which is located in the western of Yuxi River, Yuyan District,Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. The mine areas are251.75square kilometers, and its geologicalreserves are3.17billion tons, among which the recoverable reserves are1.89billion tons.With the increasing of high production and efficiency mines year by year in China, theworking equipments are increasingly updated. The advanced and reliability of the entiremechanized mining system is not only depend on the advanced and reliability of thestand-alone device, as well as the reasonable selection of the equipments, what’s more, thepower supply system is also become very importance. Therefore, according to the conditionsand requirements of the national construction that we should construct high production andefficiency modern mines, design a good power supply system, which are the keys to achievethe safety, high yield and efficiency of modern mine.This article have introduced the status of Xiaojihan coal mine power supply system, andsupplied the design project of11213fully-mechanized mining face power supply system.weimplements microcomputer relay protection to improve the reliability and safety of the powersupply system.This article focused on the calculations and interpretation to the selecting of11213fully-mechanized mining face electrical equipments and relay protection.By designing a reliable, security, economy and reasonable power supply system of thefully-mechanized mining face, it can help us to improve the product quality, economicbenefits and ensure our production safety.
