With the rapid development of sludge treatment and sludge industry. The sludgecompost fermentation technology which can solve environmental pollution problemsand produce economic benefits was not widely use. One of the most important"bottleneck" restrictions why this technology cannot be popularized was that stench gasreleased in process of the compost fermentation cannot be efficiently captured.In this paper, based on the analysis of all kinds’ stench gas capture system whichcan be used for the sludge fermentation factory, take the sludge compost fermentationworkshop which is a part of the sludge disposal engineering in ZhengZhou as theresearch object, using the theoretical calculation and CFD numerical simulation methodto research the factory’s ventilation system. Based on theoretical calculation andnumerical simulation result. Present use the push-pull ventilation system to solve theproblem that stench gas released from large scale pollution source with lateral pressurefirstly.Then build single/double side push-pull ventilation on fermentation tank, andsimulate the use effection of the push-pull ventilation system, then choose the optimizedscheme according to the simulation results of the push-pull ventilation scheme. Providesa new metheod of solve the problem that stench gas concentration overweight within thesludge composting fermentation plant completely.This paper’s mainly research result as follows:1、 Through calculate the original general ventilation rate and numerical simulate theairflow organization in the workshop. the original scheme of the volume of exhaust airwas discovered too small, and the air distribution is not reasonable. And points out thatlarge industrial building as the sludge composting fermentation workshop which usingcomprehensive ventilation scheme is difficult to guarantee the use effection; 2、The speed of the pollution air which release from composting tank is about0.74m/sby analysis and calculation.3、 One side push-pull ventilation system on the fermentation tank can control andcapture the stench gas completely, it can also thoroughly solve the problem of stenchgas concentration overweight within the workshop; Under different working conditions,by comparing the stench gas trap effect of push-pull ventilation system, get theoptimized push-pull ventilation scheme. Various factors affecting the selection of thescheme as follows: the smallest flow “Fmin” is1.05~1.15m3/s, blowing mouth height“b” is120mm, blowing out the flow rate of8~10m/s, the best flow angle “α” is15°,the minimum push-pull flow than Rminis0.32;4、With reference to the optimized the one side push-pull ventilation system, double sidespush-pull ventilation system on fermentation tank was built.Comparing the use efficencyof the two systems, it was found that the one side push-pull ventilation system is betterthan the double side’s push-pull ventilation.
