In this paper,according to the mechanism of anionic ring-opening polymerization,in accordance with the method of preparation of cast nylon, MC nylon was modified byadding two kinds of different functional polymer melamine resin microcapsule (MF)and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS). First of all,in the experiment process, the preparationand characterization of the melamine resin microcapsule were studied, and choosed thebest the microcapsule in order to modify MC nylon composite material. The bendingproperties, hardness and water absorption of MF modified MC nylon. were tested.Secondly, the impact properties, bending properties and water absorption of thepreparation of PPS modified MC nylon composite material were tested.The melamine resin microcapsule, with paraffin as the core material, and usingmelamine-formaldehyde resin as wall material, was prepared by using in situpolymerization, in O/W emulsion system. On the preparation of microcapsule corematerial of emulsifier, the dispersant, the choice of pH value, reaction temperature andreaction time etc were studied with a detailed research. The results show that theemulsifier select the sodium dodecyl sulfate (SLS), and the dispersant use thepolyvinyl alcohol (PVA) aqueous solution. In the preparation of polymers, the bestreaction conditions regulate the pH=9, the reaction temperature at70℃, the reactiontime in90min. In the process of preparation of capsule, the different rate of thecore/shell rate was used as the capsules cladding. Using the German brock type infraredspectrometer, the Taiwan TE1384type four channel heat meter, the Japan5610scanning electron microscopy (SEM), the structure, decalescence and topology ofmelamine resin microcapsule was characteristics. The experimental results show thatthe characteristic peak of MF was detected through the infrared spectrogram, the heatrelease rate of1:1ratio of core/shell rate heat absorption rate was fast, the fastest timecapsule at58℃at25s, and in a state. The core wall morphology best capsule wasobserved at1:1by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the microcapsule sphere surface is smooth, uniform dispersion.In this experiment, MF and PPS wered adopted as filler, and the Caprolactam usedas monomer, MF/PPS modified MC nylon composites was prepared according to themechanism of anionic ring-opening polymerization. The degree of vacuum, reactiontime, reaction temperature, the dosage of the catalyst and acylating agent influenced onthe composite materials, are studied during the preparation of composite materials. Atlast, we find the optimum process conditions of experiment of the experiment.. Thevacuum degree above0.098MPa is required, Catalyst dosage is0.2g, acylation agentamount was3.5mL,the temperature is controlled about135℃, mold temperature isabout160℃, Join the catalyst after the vacuum time is35min, constant temperatureheating time is90min in the oven.The mechanical properties and water absorption of the modified compositematerial were tested using the universal material testing machine, cantilever beamimpact testing machine, shore sclerometer and water absorption test. Experimentalresults show that the brittle faults is improved, and the curving performance, hardness isincreased, the water imbibition was decreased by adding polymer MF, the modificationof pure nylon composites. But, the dispersivity is good during the ultrasonic process byaddding PPS polymer. The impact resistance of the modified composites materials hadbeen improved. And the water absorption performance is reduced, but the bendingperformance becomes poor.
