In order to solve the problem of the shortage of carbon source for nitrogen andphosphorus removal and unsteable of effluent and reduce the sludge emission, the primarysettling tank has to been research to explore the potential to improve the biodegradabilityof wastewater and release the carbon source from primary setting sludge and expand toachieve nitrogen and phosphorus removal,using high-quality carbon source hydrolyzed. Ithas practical significance.The subject comes from The National High TechnologyResearch and Development Program (863Program) resources and environmenttechnology, The Research and Application of High-Performance New Primary SettingTank.The research result could provide technical support for the mentioned standard andtransformation of municipal wastewater treatment plant and energy saving design.In this paper, the Enhance Hydrolysis Reactor instead of the traditional primarysettling tank has been researched.And A2/O anoxic sludge has been choosed as vaccinationsludge and it has been achieved to quick running by the way of continuous and increasingof inflow water. After the reactor running steady, the patten of inflow distribution are beencompared with the growth of biomass and the efficiency of hydrolysis acidification andpollutant removal under different. The results show that it is the best conditions that2.0m3.h-1of inflow of bottom inlet and3.0m3.h-1of inflow of inlet at the2.5m height ofbottom.On that condition,the concentration of sludge, less than3.0m in thereactor,achieved above10g.L-1and the average value of SCOD/COD of effluent is0.8.Moreover,ti is53.49%of the VFA improving and the average removal efficiency ofCOD,SS,TN and NH4+-N of effluent are respectively48.6%,78.28%,7.41%and3.17%.In order to expand the ability of the pollutants removal by Strengthen EnhanceHydrolysis reactor,the inflow, mixed with urban waste water and the effluent of AerobicProcess, has been researched.Because it can provide a bit of NO3--N and DO,so thehydrolysisi reactor has a high removal efficiency of nitrogen and phosphorus.The resultshow that the hydrolysisi reactor has a higher potential of nitrogen and phosphorusramoval.When the average concentration of TN of influent is15.11mg.L-1,the effluent is9.38mg.L-1,and the removal efficiency is38.95%,higher30%than the flow only with urban waste water.However,the removal efficiency of TP is50.03%.And the materialbalance alalysis show that carbon and nitrogen and phosphorus mainy distribute in theeffluent of Enhance Hydrolysis reactor.And when the inflow with urban waste water,the Cand N and P are59.4%、84.44%and78.03%in the effluent;While he inflow mixed withurban waste water and the effluent of Aerobic Process, the C and N and P are60.06%、55.86%and56.18.It is found that the mass of carbon and nitrogen transfer todinitrification and phosphoru stransfer to sludge comparing with the inflow with urbanwaste water and mixed water when increasing the NO3--N and DO of the inflow.
