Longitudinally profiled flat steel is a kind of lightweight and saving type steelproducts. Form1980s foreign countries began rolling the longitudinal profiled plateresearch, and has been widely used in automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding and bridgeindustry. But in our country the longitudinal profiled plate research is at the just infancy.For my country, only a few large companies can produce longitudinal profiled plate steel,and most longitudinal profiled plate steel dependent on foreign imports. So the theory oflongitudinal profiled plate steel and rolling technology with longitudinal profiled platesteel is important for our country steel production.This article based on the characteristics of longitudinal profiled plate steel rolling androlling mechanics, deformation, kinematics conditions deduced the formulas of rollingparameters such as bite angle, the length of the deformation zone, the neutral angle,forward slip and the average value of the metal deformation speed which are suitable forlongitudinal profiled plate steel rolling.According to the characteristics of longitudinal profiled plate steel rolling, analyzethe longitudinal profiled plate steel rolling’s law along with the time, wedge angle and thefriction, such as exit velocity, lateral velocity and wide spread, and make the finiteelement simulation by DEFORM software.According to the influencing factors and characteristics of the wide spread of thelongitudinal profiled plate steel rolling and wide spread formulas, influence coefficient oflongitudinal profiled plate steel rolling is introduced to make it suitable for longitudinalprofiled plate steel rolling.There are a lot of factors affect the rolling force. Through finite element simulation toanalysis existing transitional curve, more suitable for longitudinally profiled flat steelrolling process are put forward: reduce rolling speed and appropriate to extend the oftransitional zone. Both methods can reduce the maximum rolling force, but to some extentreduces productivity. In order to solve the problems of the existing transition curve, a new transitional curve is proposed, which s a curve leading, high-order curve transition. Thiscurve is not only solved the mutant rolling force of the straight line transitional curve andexcessive rolling force of the high-order transitional curve, but also, to some extent,improve the efficiency of the longitudinally profiled flat steel production.The research results laid the foundation for the longitudinal profiled plate steelrolling and provide a reference for the longitudinal profiled plate steel rolling industrialapplications.
