In the past studies of conductive adhesive, most researchers focused on one-componentconductive adhesive prepared with synthetic resin. Arabic gum is one kind of naturalpolymer, and it come from a variety of sources and reproducible. It was often used inpreparation of envelope adhesive. This paper,copper powder、graphite and carbon blackwere used as conductive particles, arabic gum was used as resin for preparation ofconductive adhesive; Meanwhile, studied the influence of photoinduced phase separation ofhomogeneous arabic gum-AA(acrylic acid) system on conductive adhesive.Then, preparedE51-AA conductive adhesive and compared its performence with arabic-AA conductiveadhesive’s. However, there was no correlative reports about using arabic gum to prepareconductive adhesive. Therefore, this paper mainly fllowed below steps to research andanalyse.Firstly,mixing arabic gum solutions and copper powder to prepare conductive adhesive,then cured in room temperature and investigated its electrical conductivity.And researchedthe photoinduced phase separation structure of arabic gum-AA system by means of SEM,using arabic gum-AA photoinduced phase separation system to prepare conductive adhesiveand discussed the influence of different phase separation on electrical conductivity. Theresults showed that when the content of copper powder was50%, arabic gum conductiveadhesive could acquire fine electrical conductivity,but its adhesion capability was poor;When the extent of two-phase separation and continuity of interface were higher, theelectrical conductivity of conductive adhesive was better. Meanwhile,-coo-perssad beingintroduced into adhesive improved adhesion capability of conductive adhesive largely.Secondly, copper powder as conductive particle and synthetic E51-AA photosensitiveresin as binding material were used to prepare conductive adhesive. Compared arabicgum-AA conductive adhesive’s performence with its. The results showed that arabicgum-AA conductive adhesive’s electrical conductivity and adhesion capability werecomparable with its.Then, prepared arabic gum-AA conductive adhesive filled with carbon seriesconductive particle. The influence of composite conductive particles of graphite and carbonblack on performence of conductive adhesive was studied, and the impact of photoinitiatoron curing time of fusco-curing system. The results showed that when the content of carbonblack in composite conductive particles was0.4, the electrical conductivity of conductive adhesive was best. Composite photoinitiators had great help to improve the curing time offusco-curing system.Finally, aging characteristic of conductive adhesive filled with copper powder andcarbon series conductive adhesive was investigated. The results showed that with theincrease of temperature, resistivity of conductive adhesive filled with copper powderincreased gradually and presented insulativity; resistivity of conductive adhesive filled withgraphite was steadily; resistivity of conductive adhesive filled with carbon black increasedand then decressed, and when temperature rised to a certain extent, resistivity was less thaninitial resistivity, that indicated carbon black might be more suitable for sintering curingsystem.
