In ordered to solve the problem of waterborne polyurethane,poor water resistance,the hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, organic silicon, organic fluorine acted as functionalmonomer was introduced in waterborne polyurethane chain, synthesis two kinds of functionalpolyurethane which polyether type and polyether-polyester type, tested the influence of thedosage of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, organic silicon and the method of introducedin the waterborne polyurethane to the water-resistance. Took this as background introducedthe organic fluorine which was waterproof monomer in the main chain of the waterbornepolyurethane, probed into the influence of the organic fluorine in main chain and the sidechain to the waterborne polyurethane,water resistance.The emulsion particle size, interfacial tension, dilution stability, centrifugal stability,freeze-thaw stability of the polyurethane emulsion and the water resistance, resistance toelectrolyte of the waterborne polyurethane film was tested, and analyzed the product by theFourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), the static contact Angle andthermogravimetric analysis (TGA and DSC).Test results showed that the hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, organic silicon wasintroduced into the waterborne polyurethane improved the performance of the film,hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene polyurethane had excellent elasticity and low temperatureflexibility, organic silicon increase the elasticity and softness of membrane, but whenhydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene usage is larger, the hydrophilic of emulsion is not enough,and organic silicon water resistance is poor than hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, when thetwo monomers was introduced in polyurethane molecular chain at the same time, the waterresistance of waterborne polyurethane film has improved significantly; Polyetherpolyurethane has good hydrophilicity, hydrolysis resistance, but the tensile strength is nothigh, polyether-polyester polyurethane has good resistance to water, and have excellentmechanical properties, good film-forming performance, but the hydrolysis resistance is poor.By Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectrum analysis results, hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, organic silicon, organic fluorine was successfully introduced to thewater-borne polyurethane molecular chain, through interfacial tension test knew the analysisafter the introduction of organic fluorine interfacial tension of aqueous polyurethane emulsionfrom45mn/m down to24mn/m, by laser particle size test results knew waterbornepolyurethane emulsions grain size distribution was narrow, emulsion dispersion was better.When the ratio of n (NCO)/n (OH) was7.12, the proportion of organic silicon was5.23%, hydroxyl-terminated shun butadiene proportion was12.82%, organic fluorineproportion was6.70%, n (HTPB)/n (silicone) ratio was2, it was easier to synthetic waterrepellency waterborne polyurethane than others, the film resistance to water from27hoursbegan to dissolve to60hours began to dissolve. when polyether was replaced by polyesterpartly of Polyether-polyester the film water resistance increased from the original polyethertype60hours to75hours, improved the water resistance of the film significantly. Side chainfluorinated water waterborne polyurethane tests showed that it was important to probe tointroduce the side chain into the polyurethane for improving water resistance.
