This study was treated urban sewage to of Xi’an Beishiqiao sewage treatmentplant as processing objects, analyzed the correlation of ammonia emission reductionsand energy consumption to DE type oxidation ditch process. Experimental study ofproductive was also studied through the use of DE type oxidation ditch effluentammonia value to control it. The test lasted nearly six months, the results show that:(1) Through the use of DE type oxidation ditch effluent ammonia value we foundthat added ammonia instrumentation at the oxidation ditch export was able to detectthe changes of the water indicators, and effectively prevent fluctuations in waterquality, improve water quality standard guaranteed rate.(2) The DE type oxidation ditch effluent ammonia values was Effectivelycontrolled in the range of4-6mg/l in the actual operation.(3) In the running mode of front the mode, better flexible and effective control ofwater quality by changing the traditional DO to control the operation of the oxidationditch, to ensure that the water quality discharge standards. And achieve the fullutilization of the dissolved oxygen, reducing the unit power consumption of theaeration tank biochemical stage, to achieve the purpose of energy saving.
