Mining electric locomotive is a kind of transport equipment in the coal mine. It cantransport people or goods, and it is one of the most important transport equipment. Thetraction force of mining electric locomotive is very large. It can substitute people to work, andneed little maintenance costs. So, for coal mine, electric locomotive has important securityand economic significance. During the transportation of mining electric locomotive, majorityof accidents are crash, rear-end collision and going off the rails and so on. On the other side,stress efficiency in coal mine, it need work faster. So, the brake technology of locomotive isone of the difficult points in performance and security issues.In this dissertation, introduce the development history, the research status anddevelopment trend of domestic and overseas anti-skid control system of locomotive. Analysethe phenomenon of adhesion and the relationship between adhesion coefficient and slip ration.Explain the principle, structure and workflow of anti-slip control system. Analyse slidingmode variable structure control theory from its concept, basic principle, method of applicationand the characteristic. In this dissertation, work on dynamic analysis of the model of a quarterof the model of the locomotive, then design the anti-skid control system of the mining electriclocomotive based on sliding mode variable structure control system.Model and simulate the mining electric locomotive in Matlab/Simulink. It mainlyincludes locomotive dynamics model, brake model, wheel model and control algorithm model.In order to verify the validity of the anti-skid brake system of mining electric locomotive, themodel and simulate the anti-skid brake system and the free of anti-skid control system. Andthe anti-skid control system adopts the logic threshold control, PID control and sliding modevariable structure control. The simulation results show that the slip ration of using ant-skidcontrol system is more close to the expected value than no ant-skid control system. It meansant-skid control system can has better utilization of adhesion. The braking effect of slidingmode variable structure control system is better than that of other two control system.
