The Bi3TiTaO9ceramic is bismuth layer-structured ceramic. Such ceramic haslow dielectric parameters, high Mechanical quality factor, high Curie temperatureand Chemically stable. Rare earth ions Ho3+and Yb3+due to its special electronicshell structure can be as the upconversion luminescence activator and sensitizer.This paper studies the rare earth Ho3+/Yb3+the doped Bi3TiTaO9ceramics onconversion luminescence properties, as well as the ferroelectric and piezoelectricproperties.In this paper, the solid-phase sintering is used to preparation rare earthHo3+/Yb3+the doping Bi3TiTaO9ceramics. Application of XRD, SEM and othercharacterization methods, to improve the experimental conditions, to prepare qualityBi3TiTaO9ceramic.Then we begin to study conversion luminescence properties of rare earthHo3+/Yb3+the doped Bi3TiTaO9ceramics. Test fluorescence spectrum,980nmexcitation light excitation can be observed that there are three light emitting peak inthe visible and near-infrared region. After analysis, respectively, corresponding tothe transition5S2â†'5I8,5F5â†'5I8transition5I4â†'5I8or the5S2â†'5I7transition, this kandof ceramic can be achieved upconversion luminescence. Then, we study the rareearth ion concentration of luminous intensity, discovered the phenomenon ofconcentration quenching, and green and red intensity ratio decreases with theconcentration. In addition, the emission level of life was measured and found its lifewas in the microsecond range. Via measuring the Relationship of Laser power andLuminous intensity can be drawn three emission peaks are the two-photon process.Finally, the upconversion luminescence mechanism were analyzed.Then we begin to study the ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties of rareearth Ho3+/Yb3+the doped Bi3TiTaO9ceramics. In order to analyze the nature of theceramic,we measured electromechanical coupling coefficient, piezoelectric constant,ferroelectric hysteresis loops. And we study the impact of polarization on thelight-emitting properties.
