As the most widely industrial application of the pump, slurry pump main used totransport mixture of solid and liquid which has certain corrosive and contain of hard particle.Because of its application field in industry,it mainly concentrated in the metallurgy, chemicalindustry, in the process, it often in very bad environment such as abrasion resistance strongtailings, corrosive chemical agents.Due to the bad conditions of use, it is very easy to producethe serious abrasive wear, erosion wear and surface spalling, then appear early failure, servicelife short, to cause great damage of the enterprise.According to the present research and application situation of the flow componentsmaterials, this article chooses high chrome cast iron as the research object, through the lasersurface synthesis excellent comprehensive properties of cladding layer organization, it canextend the slurry pump flow components service life and improve the economicefficiency.Determinating the laser cladding layer organization wear-resisting corrosionresistant and other properties,we use the orthogonal test table under different laser parameterscladding layer of the organization’s overall performance, to get the best laser cladding processparameters combination and achieve good cladding layer organization.In order to improve thesurface cladding organization performance, we add the Mo powder and CeO2into thecladding layer powder and test laser surface cladding, through comparing the differentcomponent improvement situation, determined the optimal ratio.The results show that the cladding layer organization with base material is metallurgicalbonding,existing the hard particle phase TiC in the organization.The hardness and wearresistance of the cladding layer organization, such as relative to the base material wasimproved. The best combination of laser technology is3.2kw laser power, scanning speed4mm/s, from coke quantity15mm. When adding quantity6%Mo powder, the cladding layerhardness and wear resistant performance better. When filling in the content0.5%CeO2, it caneffectively improve the wear resistance of cladding layer.
