This paper introduces the principle of induction hardening machineand TULIP inductor design methods and process parameters optimizationstudies. For equipment, the large number of enterprises with brandadvantages application of advanced and efficient automatic inductionhardening machine, these devices use of closed-loop control, automaticloading, high precision, extensive product adaptability, processingfrequency digital control, high intelligent, same as international advancedlevel. In contrast, domestic small businesses induction hardening machinefor manual operation, process control functions, the intelligent level isrelatively low.For inductor designing, a design method convolution inductor, and theintroduction of a standardized designing and manufacturing, the inductorcomponent parts for the same type of serialization, shorten themanufacturing cycle, to facilitate mass production management andmaintenance. Hardness and case depth is satisfied through the test. Inmanufacturing, copper is used for induction coil, together with theMagnetic Fluxtrol to enhance heating performance the preferred good heatinsulation, glass board as non-deformable inductor bracket, guarantee thestability of the processing. The types of inductor have a wide range andrugged, good performance of exchange.Relationship with hardness and case depth is obtained in different parameters, and program parameters suitable for the product requirements.On this basis, it also analyzes the impact of process parameters on productperformance, the best inductor design and process parameters are found. Inthe production process, heating position, energy, quenching flow aremonitored for each part which ensure the consistency of the processparameters. Effective inspection of the inductor manufacturing process,maintenance in process, which is also effective process control means forhigh-quality products.
