High strength, good ductility, strain rate dependent and work-hardening propertiesmake Dual steel have good application in the automotive industry today, according toreduce plate thickness, thinning specifications to meet the requirements of partslightweight, environmental protection, energy-saving. B340/590DP is one of therepresentatives of the dual steel.The forming speed as one of the influencing factors in sheet metal forming, has fewstudies, based on the advanced servo press technology, we can change forming speedmode according to the forming characteristics of drawing parts to improve formability ofparts,increase the stability and forming efficiency of parts, reduce crack, wrinkling andother defects. Based on cylindrical drawing, study on the influence of forming speed onstamping performance of B340/590DP in sheet metal forming.The finite element numerical simulation is the basis and guidance for drawingexperiment, considered forming speed, holder force, friction coefficient, and stressdistribution under six different strain rates10-3s-1、10-2s-1、10-1s-1、1s-1、5s-1、10s-1, makethe simulation more accurate. Based on the simulation of ABAQUS finite elementsoftware, find the best holder force in the forming speed40mm/s, study on the materialplastic flow state, the stress distribution, and thickness distribution.According to affect friction characteristics, the forming speed has effect on drawingperformance. Based on10KN servo press, flat sliding friction test was designed to studyon the influence of forming speed on friction property of B340/590DP in sheet metalforming according to the force characteristics of the flange deformation zone.At last, based on the1000KN servo press, study on the influence of forming speed onstamping performance of B340/590DP in sheet metal forming, in order to determine thekey point of forming speed, research the influence of forming speed mode on formingtime, thickness distribution, drawing force, and the microstructure of the different parts.
