Rock Technology has had widespread application in drilling engineering,miningengineering, which promotes national economy development. Exploration of rocktechnology has never been stopped,so far,there are many methods to break the rock. Manyaspects have been improved,such as efficiency,environmental protection.Pulsed power technology has been used extensively in the many fields. it has a goodapplication prospect. It is developing from regions such as national defense,scientificexperiments to fields such as Medical,chemical,environmental,blasting,etc. Comparedwith the traditional methods, Rock disintegration by electric pulse is a novelnon-mechanical rock fragmentation one. It has a lot of advantage such as high efficiency,no environmental pollution,no explosives storage,no evacuation,etc,So it is greatlyconcerned. The method comprises fuse exploration,electrolyte exploration and rock self-exploration. The last one has great advantage,which is the direction of the research.As the advantages of the method,Study of the rock disintegration by electric pulse isreally important. This thesis explains the principles of rock crushing from aspects ofParticle theory and Mechanics. By the comparison of some other new rock crushingmethods,Rock disintegration by electric pulse is the optimal one,that the reason why it isselected.In this thesis,we mainly do experiments about the basic principles of the rock’s self-exploration,thus two electrodes discharge form is selected. According to the detaileddescription of the exploration principle,some exploration conditions such as insulatingliquids,electrode,electrical parameters,etc is known. The truth of the basic principle isconfirmed by some experiments of the rock samples. Through a discharge on Teflon by aMarx generator with more energy,different results to different insulating liquid isconfirmed,the relationship of depth and electrode distance is calculated. The simulation of electric field in the two electrodes system is designed with Ansys. The original of thedischarge can be speculated.The high-voltage isolated discharge circuit is designed,which avoids the problems ofgas switch‘s short service life and the high voltage on the capacitor. Similar to the powerfulignition,the Marx generator forms a plasma channel in the rock,then the energy in themain capacitor penetrate into the channel to make the channel expand instantly,whichforms the exploration. The design of the magnetic switch in the circuit is very important,which is calculated by the V.s characteristics.The circuit is set up to do experiments on the load to get some good results. It issimulated by Pspice,relevant waveforms is obtained. By comparison with the experimentresults,the practicability of the circuit is confirmed.Some study on the basic principles is done in the thesis. According to the blastingtheory,the high-voltage isolated circuit is designed,many problems in the process in thestudy are discussed,and the potential future problems is evaluated.
