With the rapid development of the domestic and foreign machinery industry, therequirement of mechanical manufacturing level is higher. Machinery industry in ourcountry is in a high-speed development period, the demand for CNC machine tools isalso increasing. The gear plays an irreplaceable role in many manufacturing industries,so the market demand for the spindle system is also higher. In order to decrease the costof machine tool design and shorten the design cycle, improve the machining quality andefficiency, we need do static and dynamic simulation and optimization for each part ofmachine tool during the research and development phase of machine tool design. But indomestic research and achievements in the field of gear form grinding machine isrelatively scarce, especially in the vibration of the spindle system, resulting in the finalmanufacturing precision of products still can not keep up the level of foreign advancedtechnology, therefore, how to reduce the vibration of the spindle system better hasbecome the key problem in crunch time.The accuracy of grinding wheel directly affects the machining accuracy of gears.Although the precision of motorized spindle is very high on the market, the instabilityof gear grinding machine column, head and other parts can still cause the error ofspindle system. The paper did a lot of work to reduce the spindle error.This paper takes YK7380CNC gear grinding machine as the research object,analyzes one of the important parts-spindle system.This system is an important part ofthe gear grinding machine, its dynamic characteristics have a direct impact on qualityand efficiency of the gear grinding machine grinding. In order to select the parametersoptimized to reduce vibration during operation of the spindle system, by using of finiteelement software to do dynamics research of grinding spindle system.Through the Solidworks software to complete the three-dimensional structuremodel of the spindle system, and then combine the theory of dynamic analysis of theknowledge, use ANSYS Workbench to do modal analysis and harmonic responseanalysis on the spindle system. Through modal analysis obtain inherent frequency,mode and integrated deformation of the spindle system. In order to obtain the optimalnumber of parameter sets to analysis elastic modulus, material density, tensile strength,yield strength and support span and other parameters that have influence on the inherentcharacteristics and vibration mode of the spindle system. To do harmonic responseanalysis on the spindle system to simulate the real situation of the loading force andanalysis the impact of torque and bearing span on spindle system. We obtain themaximum stress and maximum deformation and the change of the peak frequency underdifferent conditions. In order to improve the accuracy and stability of gear grindingmachine,integrated the analysis results of modal analysis and harmonious response toget a set of optimal parameters combination.
