The eutrophication of water has become an important characteristics of water pollution. In our country, the main cause of eutrophication of water is using a lot of fertilizer andpesticides in agriculture. Nowadays, on conditions of the existing in our country, using theecological ditches to evolution of waste water which is form the agriculture production cost ispaperback, and the effect is obvious. This article gives an outline of the characteristic of eutrophication of water and leads tothe actual effect of ecological ditch. In some experimental conditions Planting the Canna, thenrespectively put in0,300, and1000mg/kg urea as exogenous nitrogen. In1,7,13,19,25days, collect overlying water and sediment near the root of plant, analyzing concentration ofammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen. to find the conclusion:In less or no exogenous nitrogen environment, Canna has great absorption effect tonitrate nitrogen in overlying water. In less or no exogenous nitrogen environment, Canna has great absorption effect toammonium nitrogen in overlying water. In environment of exogenous nitrogen with low concentration. Canna has obviousabsorption to nitrate nitrogen in sediment. But in environment of exogenous nitrogen with noconcentration, Canna has unconspicuous absorption to nitrate nitrogen in sediment.Inenvironment of exogenous nitrogen with high concentration, nitrate nitrogen will be migratedform sediment to overlying water. In environment of exogenous nitrogen with low concentration. Canna has obviousabsorption to ammonium nitrogen in sediment. But in environment of exogenous nitrogen with noconcentration, Canna has unconspicuous absorption to ammonium nitrogen in sediment.Inenvironment of exogenous nitrogen with high concentration, nitrate nitrogen will be migratedform sediment to overlying water. And in environment of exogenous nitrogen with highconcentration, Canna may reveal the root-rot, and bring about cause the rising concentrationof ammonium nitrogen in sediment.
