Methylal is a significant natural gas and coal chemical derivatives, is an environmentally friendly organic solvents, detergents, paints, diesel modified additives and other fields are widely used. A large-scale domestic industrial production of methylal with catalytic distillation process is not yet formed, development and application is of a certain value.This paper study the process of methylal prepared with catalytic distillation technology, We have identified a number of process parameters on catalyst selection and dosage, the proportion of ingredients, reaction temperature and pressure of each segment and return the best ratio of experimental research conditions:mixture ratio of methanol and formaldehyde molar ratio of2.4:1~2.6:1,Pre-reaction temperature is60~70℃, catalyst amount of the total volume of10%of the distillation tower, reaction temperature, catalyst layer and bottom temperatures were40~43℃,60~70℃and80~90℃, was the top pressure is less than1kg/cm3, bottom and top pressure is less than1.5kg/cm3distillate and the return of control in a1:1molar ratio of1.8:1~1.4:1. Parameters at the optimum conditions. Experimental results show good repeatability. |
