Conjugate linolenic acid is the mixture of Conjugated Polyunsaturated Fatty Acidswhich have been reported to have many beneficial biological activities as conjugated lindeincacid. For example, anti-oxidation, anti-cancer, hypolipidemic, reduced weight andimmune-enhancing activities. So CLN will be very significant for the health and living ofhuman being.The paper based on the linseed oil (including53.5%linolenic acid) as raw material,preparation conjugate linolenic acid by the method of talkali isomerization, Study the reactiontemperature and time, alkali amount of solvent oil ratio of conjugate linseed oil. The workwill be taken into a homogeneous isomerization system and the isomerization system twoparts according to the state of reaction system. The main results obtained as follows:First, for the system of preparation conjugate linolenic acid by the homogeneous alkaliisomerization, Study the effected of solvent type, alkali catalyst type, the reaction time,temperature, quantity and solvent quantity for linolenic acid isomerization. It is found thatalkali/oil ratio of3, solvent/oil ratio of15, reaction time of12h and reaction temperature atroom give maximum yield of40.25%in the system of DMF/sodium hydroxide. Alkali/oilratio of3, solvent/oil ratio of30, reaction time of60min and reaction temperature at240Cgive maximum yield of52.97%in the system of glycerol/sodium hydroxide. Alkali/oil ratioof3, solvent/oil ratio of15, reaction time of40min and reaction temperature at180C givemaximum yield of52.90%in the system of glycol/sodium hydroxide.Secone, Based on the results of homogeneous alkali isomerization research and theConditions of glycol solvent system, the paper studied and inspected the effected of the alkaliactive component, carrier, load, bake temperature and bake time in the experiments of talkaliisomerization for the safflower and CN. It is found that load amount1.5bake temperature500C and bake time3h were the best experiments conditions, and the yield will be to20.97%. Itis also found by the orthogonality that the influence order for the effect of isomerization is:load amount, bake temperature and bake time.
