The subsea production facilities control technology is an important research topic toensure the smooth conduct of subsea production. Since1960Shell firstly install a wetChristmas tree in56feet of underwater,Subsea control system is also able to produce. Withthe development of technology, foreign companies have made great progress in this regard,and in accordance with the major offshore oil and gas projects need to be developed by thecontrol of a well-to-many wells and complex underwater control module. The research of thetest subsea control module of Christmas tree, which is conducive to the development of thesubsea control module used in the engineering, is of great strategic significance to promotethe development of China’s subsea production equipment.This paper focuses on the hydraulic system, electric control system and structure of thetest subsea control module of Christmas tree. Firstly, We have in-depth understanding of thethe subsea control module functionality, working principle and Composition by preliminaryresearch, The development of the overall program of the test subsea control module ofChristmas tree based on the early researching. Secondly, the hydraulic system constructedaccording to the working principle. Analyzing the characteristics and Calculating theparameters of the hydraulic components according to the characteristics valve actuatorcontrolled and related products abroad, and models of hydraulic components will be selected.Finally, take the subsea Christmas tree’s valve actuators used in an oilfield for example,analyzing the hydraulic system pressure changes in the open valve stage, normal workingstage, and the valve is closed, by simulating the hydraulic system. Thirdly, according to thefunctions and composition of the subaea electronic module to select the components and tobuild control system. The last, an appropriate numerical model about chock’s opening sizehave been built to simulat the stability of the control system by utilizing MATLAB. Finally,we design hydraulic valve block, the housing and sealing of the test subsea control module ofChristmas tree, and analyze them respectively. Ensure that all structures of the test subseacontrol module of Christmas tree can meet the design requirements.
