Abstract:This thesis mainly studied the optimum technological conditions of the cobalt products such as cobalt boroacylate, Co-Al hydrotalcite. Besides, chemical structure, physical and chemical properties of related products were tested.the effects of the type of solvent, reaction temperature of mixed carboxylic acid cobalt, the molar ratio of acetic acid to cobalt hydroxide, reaction time of boron acylation on the reaction were investigated respectively with the scanning method of single factor. The effect of the mole ratio of new decanoic acid to isocaprylic acid, the amount of solvent oil, and reaction temparature on the synthesis of cobalt boroacylate were analyzed by using the response surface method. Results showed that the product with25.85g solvent per mole, the molar ratio of new decanoic acid and isocaprylic acid,0.5185, the reaction temperature of boron acylation,199.9℃, the reaction products cobalt boroacylate had high quality, the cobalt content is22.27%. Experimental verification shows that the experiment established by the response surface model can predict cobalt content of the end products boroacylate cobalt, even direct the synthesis of cobalt boroacylate.the effect of resultant temperature of Co-Al hydrotalcite (130℃,150℃,170℃) on nickel electrode is investigated. At the same time, the effect of volume of addition on nickel electrode (4%Co-Al hydrotalcite,6%Co-Al hydrotalcite) have been studied. In addition, the result of the experiment are analyzed and discussed. It showed that Co-Al hydrotalcite synthesized at150℃is the best. When it added to the nickel anode, the reversibility nickel electrode can be improved. The test of CV showed that the adding of6%Co-Al hydrotalcite can greatly improve the reversibility of nickel electrode. The test of charge-discharge curve and cycle life showed that the initial charge-discharge efficiency of electrode adding Co-Al hydrotalcite is higher. The test of EIS showed that the charge-transfer resistance of the electrode adding Co-Al hydrotalcite decreased obviously. The test of tafel curves showed that Co-Al hydrotalcite can significantly enhance the corrosion resistance of nickel electrode.
