Abstract:Ni-Fe alloy foil alloy foil is not only excellent electromagnetic memory materials and magnetic shielding materials, but also good decorative and protective materials. With the nickel price rising, iron replace nickel to product nickel-iron alloy foil have a great significance.In this dissertation, the method and the technique of eleetroplating Ni-Fe alloy foil were mainly investigated. The optimized conditions on direct current electrodeposition of Ni-Fe alloy foilsolution composition was summarized as follows:current density5A/dm, pH values, temperature55℃, stirring rate50rpm NiSO4·7H2O150g/L, NiSO4·7H2O150g/L, NiCl2·6H2O40g/L, saccharin sodium salt3g/L, trisodium citrate3g/L, PS0.15g/L. The Ni63.5%Ni alloy foil has small grainsize and dense with delicate grains, and the surface appearance is metallic bright and smooth, exhibiting pinhol and cracking-free.We respectively use nickel-iron and iron-nickel-titanium as the anode, monitoring the bath Fe2+, Ni2+concentration with electrode-position time. Found that the use of nickel iron anodes electroplated10h, Fe2+concentration increased21.78%, Ni2+concentration increased13.03%; using iron-nickel-titanium joint anode, Fe2+concentration increased14.75%, Ni2+concentration increased8.68%. Regular diluted bath, addited amount of BBI and PS, it can improve the stability of the bath and continued throwing power.We studied the reaction mechanism of the additive in the bath by means of linear potential sweep, cyclic voltammetry and A.C.impedance. Tri-sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, PS was added to the solution, a solution of hydrogen evolution rate reduce, inhibit the recipitation of hydrogen. A synergistic effect between the presence and type of additives. The decomposition of sodium saccharin, trisodium citrate and PS is controlled by mass, and it is an irreversible reaction.
