In order to solve problems such as hard rocks when drilling, the poor efficiency of drilling andthe short life of the drill, The fire-suction liquid impactor is developed. How to solve theproblem of drilling in hard rocks in oil and gas field is a subject generally concerned bydrilling experts at home and abroad. Based on the theory of rock broken, the impact rotarydrilling technology is one of the most effective ways to solve the hard formation drillingchallenges of oil and gas wells now. The impact of the research, with simple structure, easyinstallation, dynamic medium is required for drilling mud, can greatly improve the drillingefficiencyThe fire-suction liquid impactor is designed and developed by studying impacts such asvalve double acting, double-acting fire-suction and counterproductive. The fire-suction liquidimpactor, a downhole drilling tool, will change the flow passage due to the vortexentrainment made by the high pressure and speed of the mud to creat a pressure difference. The pressure difference makes the valve and the piston go up and down and the impact forceis transmitted to the anvil. The impactor rotary drill with the drillstring and impact drill on acertain frequency at the same time so that it will break the rocks. This product has a goodeconomic and practical benefit, and will make a great contribution to the large-scaledevelopment on the western region in China as well.A lot of theoretical study of the fire-suction hydraulic impactor has been done in this paper including drawing the structural designdrawings, the simulation with the software PROE and a lot of test in the laboratory.Theseshow us the fire-suction structural impactor is reliable and stabile, and the design andmanufacture have reach the design requirements.
