Compared with other materials,3D hybrid braided composites have many advantages. The c-omposites structure can be designed according to the actual application to make full use of the pr-operties of hybrid fibers. But few studies about impact performance of3D braided composites are reported at present. Most of the papers are focused on the effect of different proportion of carbon a nd glass fibers on impact property. In this paper, the relationship of different promiscuous mode of carbon and glass fibers with the impact property is studied.This article uses the drop weight impact test and three point bending test to test the performance of3D braided. We can preliminary judgment the impact resistance of composites with different hybrid way by drop weight impact test, the bending properties of the composites mixed with hybrid fiber through the impact bending test, we can test the bending performance value of the composites after impact, Then compares with the corresponding samples, we can conclude better composite specimens with residual bending strength.The experimental research and analysis result shows as follows:1. After the impact effect, the back of the impact surface and impact surface of composite specimens are cracks, the surface cracks expand along the horizontal, the back of the impact along the vertical; Impact damage occurs mainly in near the impact on the back of the field and is greater than the impact on the back surface damage.2. Two groups of braided samples in braiding yarn made by carbon fiber (CF), the introduction of the axial yarn made by glass fiber (GF) made the composite’s bending modulus, bending strength decreased; The braiding yarn of glass fiber samples, compared with the pure glass fiber composite, the bending modulus of the composites increased by the introduction of the axial yarn carbon fiber, the bending strength increases first and then decreased3. In this paper, the yarn arrangement in sample was (row*column)4*40+3*39(braiding yarn and axial yarn). In the two sample of carbon fiber as braiding yarn and glass fiber as braiding yarn, the impact resistance of sample was best when the upper and lower fibers were same material and different to the braiding yarn, middle fiber was another kind of fiber and the to the braiding yarn.4. In the3D five-direction braided composites with one kind of fiber braiding, if added another fibers as the form of axial yarn, impact resistance can be improved.
