Research On Reform Vietnamese Traditional Garment For High Schoolgirls Aodai Uniform Design

Aodai is a representative of Vietnamese women clothing and its has symbol of the Eastern women style. Through a long time development, traditional Aodai has been improved a lot by designer. According to development of social, in many units (Vietnam airline, high school, office,..) traditional Aodai has been become women uniform. In Vietnam high schoolgirls usually15years old to18years old, this stage is not child nor adults so that their body, psychology and physiology is also not perfect. With school of rules every schoolgirls have to wear Aodai uniform in the school. In order to standardize Aodai uniform design for high schoolgirls, this thesis firstly used Martin measurement method to measure high schoolgirls body parameters and survey schoolgirls how to perceive when they wore Aodai uniform.In order to understand the specific characteristics of schoolgirls and parameters set of experimental paper pattern. In the chapter2,198schoolgirls from15to18years old that were measred by tool such as Martin measurement method to get the static size of schoolgirl’s body. The experiment gained34body parameters and characteristics parameters selected by SPSS software, which were height, chest, abdominal, waist, hip, chest width, back width, shoulder width, waist width, hip, difference in chest and waist.The allowance is the emphases in structure design, not only be fit for shape、 settling for locomotors demand, but also considering costume style、fabric variety、 taste、season and inside clothing and so on. The allowance decides the space between body and costume, and affecting rightly costume’ comfort and modeling. Secondly, Because of rare literature before, In the chapter3, through for high schools the thesis would be made for customer’s appeal, and then carried out sequential study according to the result surveyed. The survey of results showed that none of them was satisfied with their body and still worried about their body shape and bad comfort on movement. So above all proved it was extremely urgent for refomative high schoolgirl aodai uniform.Finally, in the chapter4according to variable parameters, The research divided198subjects into5categories by cluster analysis. Along with the improvement of standard of living, the costume’s comfort gets more and more recognition besides the aesthetic feeling. Above all research provides scientific and available theoretical proof and implement for designing ease and pattern of high schoolgirls Aodai uniform. Through analysis of pattern of schoolgirls aodai uniform for each body type and evaluation of dynamic comfortable Evaluation of dynamic comfort one again certificated study results.
