C/C composite with excellently compositive properties had the characteristics offunction and struction.As biomedical materials, C/C composite was an new developingmaterial in the field of international late-model meterials with expansive using value andapplicative prospect.C/C composites were biological inert materials generally, in order to playits excellent mechanical properties and certain biological activity,it could preparing bioactivecoating in its surface. Carbon fiber materials had the characteristics of light weight, highstrength, high modulus, high thermal conductivity and high coefficient of thermal expansionconductive, which compositing with hydroxyapatite (HA) could obtain good biologicalactivity.HA biological coating in the surface of PAN and carbon fiber material matrix wasprepared with electro-position method in this research. HA powder was prepared withchemical precipitation method. The influence of oxidized carbon fibre and depositionalconditions including deposition time, deposition voltage and bath temperature on thedeposition effect was studied. The crystal phase of hydroxyapatite coat and purity and thephase of the HA powder calcined at1200℃was investigated by XRD. The surfacemorphology of oxidized and unoxidized carbon fibre electro-deposited andun-electrodeposited was observed by SEMThe research results showed that electro-deposition coating at the PAN carbon fibermaterials after nitric acid oxidation treatment. The uniformity biological of HA was good, butdeposition thickness and precipitation amount was lower. It was helpful for HA depositionafter combustion oxidation process on electro-deposition and improving the surface area andthe surface roughness. The best sedimentary conditions of the electro-deposition were that thetime was30min, sedimentary facies voltage was25V,and the deposition temperature was90℃. Carbon fiber surface deposition PAN base of crystal was good and purity was high. Thecrystal of HA powder prepared by chemical precipitation method was good and impuritiesphase could be removed sintering at1200℃. After immersing in analog humoral, HAcoating produced growth phenomenon, the surface structure becomed more density and coating becomed more uniform. Carbon/hydroxyapatite composite material would have abroad application value and development prospects in biomedical fields as the new biologicalcomposite material in the future.
