The ion exchange method, combined with anaerobic-aerobic membrane bioreactor (A/O MBR) in the treatment of guanidine nitrate wastewater in this paper.First, the guanidine nitrate wastewater is treatmented by the ion exchange method. In the wate guanidine nitrate can decompose into guanidinium ion and nitrate ion and the001×7strong acid cation exchange resin can adsorbed guanidine nitrate. The maximum saturation adsorbed capacity of the resin is225mg/mL with guanidine nitrate. When the esin adsorption flow is controled at0.79L/h and.56L/h,the effect of resin adsorption is stability. The resin can be well regenerated by variety of regenerant and regenerated. The ammonia values generally of resin adsorption effluent can be maintained at2to7mg/L, by many times of adsorption and regeneration. The efficiencyof resin adsorption can been maintained at a high level. When the guanidine nitrate wastewater is adsorbed by resin adsorption, the exchange column effluent is nitrite solution, which can be processed by anoxic-aerobic membrane bioreactor (A/O-MBR) treatment system. The biochemical pool strains are BZT strains. BZT decontamination bacteria and BZT nitrogen removal-denitrifying bacteria in the anaerobic pool can remove the nitrate nitrogen,by adding additional carbon source for denitrification reaction. In the Aerobic pool strains can further remove residual carbon source, nitrate. When guanidine nitrate wastewater by resin processing, the influent ammonia value can reach1.8mg/L from200-300mg/L,and the removal rate can reach99%.The final effluent of A/O-MBR system can be good, and the indicators are as follows, the nitrate nitrogen average of1.3mg/L, the removal rate of99.3%, COD value can be up to20mg/L.In summary, the method can better handle the the guanidine nitrate wastewater.Guanidine nitrate wastewater treatment by ion exchange and A/O-MBR is feasible. The indicators of final effluent ave reached the Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB8978-1996) in a standard.
