With the eutrophication phenomenon of rivers and lakes increasingly serious, especially phosphorus concentration as nutrient in the water excessive, it is urgent to solve the issues of phosphorus removal of eutrophic water. This paper use the method of adsorption to deal with the above problem.In this paper, three kinds of modification method were used to modify the five kinds of adsorbents, and among them to select6kinds of modified adsorbents. And the ability of phosphorus removal of adsorbent that before and after modified and different kinds of modified adsorbents were analysised and compared. The modified adsorbent that with the best effect of phosphorus removal and preferably suitable practical application was selected. This paper focused on the application of the actual processing of adsorbent. For the phenomenon that the phosphorus concentration changed with the seasons, adsorption experiment with different phosphorus concentration was setted. For optimum conditions of adsorption, orthogonal test with four factors (speed. time for adsorption, pH, phosphorus concentration) was setted. For the principles that governance without new pollution, safety assessment test was setted. For the issue of pollution abatement of a large number of eutrophication of water, pilot test was setted. For the mechanism of phosphorus removal of modifying, the test of contrast and observation for scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum was setted. This paper made a preliminary on physical and chemical adsorption.Results show that:orthogonal test show that on the condition of pH8.5, speed140r/min, adsorption time60min, the phosphorus removal rate was highest. Adsorbent after modification could significantly increase the removal rate of phosphorus, better adsorption of various forms of phosphorus, change the surface structure of adsorbent and the energy spectrum. Phosphorus removal rate of different modified adsorbent reached significant difference levels, and attapulgite modified by A was best, with dosing of3.00g/L deal with1.05mg/L of total phosphorus eutrophication water, its water phosphorus concentration could reach lake Ⅲ class water standard (0.20mg/L), phosphorus removal rate was84.37%, the phosphorus release rate was26.22%, the residual chlorine ion rate was13.90%, the aluminum ion residual concentration of0.15mg/L.The effect of phosphorus removal of pilot test was superior to the laboratory. Attapulgite modified by method A could be used for the eutrophication of water phosphorus removal.
