The coal industry is one of the most important industries in the development of national economic. It provides the main energy supply for us. With the development of communication technology, colliery scheduling telephone takes more important role in the field of coal mine safety. It was the first time that the voice recognition technology applied to coal mine safety area. After voice signal acquisition and processing, in case that some keywords of colliery scheduling telephone are recognized and then the system will send some warning message to dispatcher yardman to prevent accidents.This paper is based on the project of "Data-based control, scheduling and fault diagnosis and its application in the informational transformation of the colliery". We devoted ourselves to the study of the voice signal acquisition and processing for colliery scheduling system. The purpose of this paper is to design a low-cost, high performance and stable system. The main contents of the work are listed as below.1. System designFull-order system not only involves the signal acquisition circuit, but also contains signal analysis and processing. In addition, such system also has voice control circuit and voice playing circuit. According to the functional requirements, I designed the whole system scheme including hardware solution and software solution.2. Hardware design and implementAccording to the system’s function, we must design hardware circuits and complete devices selection at first. Voice acquisition module, voice processing module, voice control module and other auxiliary module are composed to the hardware of the whole system.3. Software design and implementBased on the voice recognition theory that MFCC is used to feature extraction and HMM models is used to voice training and voice recognition, I developed the smart voice recognition which applied to the coal mine safety field. The voice recognition algorithm was finished by DSP. Signal control module and voice warning module are implemented by MCU.The last debug results verified that the system is feasible and stable. It is a real-time and reliable system. I believe that this system will produce good economic and social benefits in practical application.
