Tubing is commonly used in the oil industry as an important device, it is thetransport corridor of Crude oil from the ground floor to the ground. In the oiloperations, the tubing damage bring huge economic losses to the country everyyear. Therefore, non-destructive testing of pipeline defects, through the oil in atimely manner before the accidents of distinguish pipe defects is greatsignificance. There are many tubing non-destructive testing method, magneticflux leakage testing is one of the most commonly used methods of tubing non-destructive testing. Magnetic flux leakage testing method is based on Maxwelltheory of electromagnetism and suitable for high magnetic material in general. This paper first describes the current situation of non-destructive testing, research in detail the principles pipeline magnetic flux leakage detection method, research the mathematical formula on a magnetic line interface defect dispositionpath. On the status of magnetic flux leakage pipeline inspection technologyanalyzes indicate magnetic flux leakage method combined with finite elementanalysis software is the future development direction of a magnetic flux leakagedetection technology.Subsequently, the tubing defects were classified into five types as stripes, vertical stripes, through-hole and sheet. The simulation data of leakage magneticfield is found by using finite element software for all types of defect simulation. For the leakage magnetic field simulation data obtained comparing five types ofdefects were collated and studied to extract value feature nodes under each typeof defect. According to the numerical feature nodes using MATLAB softwarefitting and modeling, three-dimensional of the magnetic field leakagedimensional model, the radial component of the magnetic field leakage dimensional model, the leakage magnetic field component of the three-dimensional model has been found. Based on simulation model and data analysis, the effects of different types and sizes of defect leakage magnetic field has beenfound. Finally, depending on the type of defect on the influence of the magneticfield leakage space, the original set of pipe inspection equipment has beenimproved and the application of finite element software to complete the internalleakage magnetic field simulation equipment to provide reference data for theoptimization and manufacturing equipment information.
