Polyethylene has good corrosion resistance, flexibility, easy formability, low temperatureresistance, abrasion resistance, but its mechanical strength is low which limits its development inthe field of engineering materials. Therefore, this topic is committed to prepare excellentmechanical strength of organic modifier modified washery rejects/PE composite material.According to monomer amount of residue, this experiment determined best process conditions ofthe different organic modifier modified washery rejects by the orthogonal experiment;Determined the different modified particle coated effect through the SEM and laser particleanalyzer; Through the test of tensile strength, impact strength, stiffness and mechanicalproperties, identified best proportion with all kinds of composite particles and PE including besteffect of organic modification agent; Finally, the best modified composite material has beentested and analysed on the elongation at break, SEM, grain size,XRD performance.The results show that: Under the optimum conditions, residual monomers of all kinds ofmodified washery rejects composite particles is lower than0.07%; Particle size of washeryrejects composite increased after organic modifier modifying, and ethyl acrylate modifiedwashery rejects particle average particle size maximum.All four kinds of polymer can be wellclad on wash bottles surface; Proportion of four kinds of composite particle and PE is3:7, thatoverall mechanics performance of composite particle is good, and the best in the ethyl acrylatemodified; Modified particle size and crystal structure influence not significant when ethylacrylate content with the ratio of20%to40%. Ethyl acrylate modified washery rejects/PEcomposite material’s tensile fracture and impact fracture are ductile fracture. When ethyl acrylatemodified washery rejects particle in a composite material with the ratio of20%to40%, thecomposite material has no impact on the tensile and impact fracture elongation, including thestructure of the composites.
