In this thesis,Cr3+,Yb3+,Ho3+:YAGG ceramic materials were prepared by Citric acid sol-gel combustion method, Ammonia co-precipitation method and Solid-phase method. The phase change process, composition, morphologies and fluorescence properties of the samples were characterized by XRD,IR, SEM,TG-DTA and fluorescence spectra. The results of XRD,IR and TG-DTA indicated that the pure YAGG powders were obtained when the samples were calcined at800℃for4h. SEM images reveal that the different burners had different effects on the morphology and particle size of the samples, the Cr3+,Yb3+,Ho3+:YAGG samples which were prepared by Ammonia co-precipitation method had the best dispersity and the diameter was50nm. Meanwhile,The fluorescence spectrum showed that the strongest emission peaks of the samples was1210nm,corresponding to5l6-5l8transition of Ho3+.A weaker emission peak appeared at1050nm because of2F5/2-2F7/2 transition of Yb3+.and the energy transfer from Cr3+to Yb3+and Yb3+to Ho3+was observed.
