Electromagnetic wave absorbing materials are of great strategetic status in military. The application in the mi.ii.tary-to-civilian is also increasing widely. Absorbing materials introduce the electromagnetic wave into wave absorbor, convert the energy to other forms to absorb the electromagnetic wave.This paper is focus on preparing of nano iron oxide, absorbing materials.by solvothermal treatment. According to synthesize of different ferrite and graphene composite iron oxide nanoraaterials, our aiming is to improve the efficiency of their ability to absorb electromagnetic waves, the performance is also studied and discussed.To start with, we synthesized cube a-Fe^Ch nanomaterials, ball shape Fe3O4nanomaterials and single-layer grapheme. And after that, we try to make Fe3O4nano material composite with graphene and test their electromagnetic wave absorption characteristics respectively. Comparative study prove that after graphene composite with iron oxide nanomaterials, the wave absorption properties is much higher than single iron oxide nanomaterials, it has a very broad perspective in the field of electromagnetic wave absorption.
