Analysis And Countermeasures Of The Low Intensity Of Urea Particles

The520,000t/a urea plant in Lanzhou Petrochemical Company used the ammonia stripping technology of Snamprogetti company in Italy, the low intensity and the high dust content of urea granules is the biggest problem after the plant put into operation.In particular, the intensity of urea granules was often exceeded it’s standard in2010-2011, which seriously affecting the quality of the urea product. In this text, we analysis the reasons of the low intensity of urea granules of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company from both the theoretical and practical, also give some experimental demonstration. With the reasons of the low intensity of urea granules,the text give a series of countermeasures that basis on a large number of experimental and practice data, including improving granulation conditions、 amendmenting process parameters、add formaldehyde additives and strengthen the environment of warehouse, which effectively improve the intensity and the appearance of the urea product.
