PU adhesive is what contains-NHCOO or-NCO in it’s molecular chain.The-NCO in the molecular chain could react with many brezzy hydrogenfunctional group, and form the chemical bond. Therefore, it has very strongconglutination property for many different of materials. PU is widely used incivil, sports, space, military and other fields, due to its excellent comprehensiveperformance and becomes one of the most important and indispensable materials.But PU materials heat resistance, antistatic, polar solvent resistance and otherproperties are not ideal, so its application is limited by a certain extent.Becauseof its excellent performance, carbon nanotubes are used to make up for thesedeficiencies to some extent.By in situ-polymerization in this thesis, using TDI, polyether glycol as crudematerials, synthesized polymer matrix. Using modified multi-walled carbonnanotubes as modifier, synthesized carbon nanotubes modified polyurethaneadhesive. Using epoxy resin curing, made coating in a certain process condition.Using FTIR to analysis the change of acidified, organic carbon tubes anddifferent MWCNT/PU’s composition and structure; the performance tests includeshear strength, peel strength, DMA, volume resistivity, permittivity, dielectricloss, water-retention rate and etc. The modifiation of TDI and three silanecoupling agent did not change the crystal structure of carbon nanotubes, but theywere effectively grafted on them. The shear strength of composite modified withdifferent MWCNT increased up to7.896N/mm2, it was2.1times of pure PU’s.The lowest peel strength was57.3%of pure PU’s. Their volume resistivity,permittivity, dielectric loss and water absorption were basically increased firstand then decreased with the amounts of MWCNT doped. And the function ofdifferent silane coupling agent (KH550, KH560, KH570) and TDI were obviously, only in varying degrees, but the difference was not significant.
