Development Of Automatic Welding Power Control System With Multi-purpose For Large-scale Oil Tank

The development of the automatic welding power control system with multi-purpose forwelding large-scale oil tank is to adapt to the need of building strategic oil reserve basesproposed in China at early twenty-first Century, at present, the large-scale oil tanks are mostly100000m3in oil reserve bases, and are expecting to150000m3, besides, ShenyangUniversity welding automation research is also developing the automatic welding technologyand equipment for large-scale oil tank. This thesis takes this as the background,“introduces,digests, absorbs and transforms”the industry recognized America Lincoln welding powerDC-600successfully, this is to say, digesting and transplanting the foreign advancedtechnology, combining with the practical engineering application, and develops a prototype ofautomatic welding power with multi-purpose, which is more suitable for welding large-scaleoil tank.In this article, firstly, The America Lincoln welding power DC-600is introduced whose coreis the traditional analog technology. DC-600uses structure of transformer silicon controlledrectifier, which belongs to the category of SCR arc welding rectifier, including mechanicaland electrical parts. The electrical part is mainly composed of a main circuit, trigger circuitand control circuit. Besides, it also has a regulating device, protection circuit, heat radiatingdevice and display device.This subject elaborates the electrical characteristics of arc and arc welding power in detail,and explains the essence of arc, namely a gas discharge phenomenon, static characteristic anddynamic characteristic of arc, as well as conditions of "arc-welding power" stable system tomeet need of welding technology and the three basic electrical characteristics: externalcharacteristic, regulation characteristic and dynamic characteristic, which the arc weldingpower must have.In addition, this paper explains the work principle of main circuit, trigger circuit and controlcircuit for the America Lincoln welding power DC-600in detail, through circuit analysis,waveform test and parameter calculation, and transforms the DC-600in remote controlfunction module and localization for the shortcomings and deficiencies in terms of application in China. This paper designs two sets of cable and wireless remote control function modulesmaking use of digital system and the PIC microcontroller successfully, and transforms thesilicon controlled rectifier group of DC-600successfully for the first time by the modularizeddesign idea, finally realizes the target of localization, develops the prototypes of automaticwelding power with multi-purpose for welding large-scale oil tank, and verifies its feasibilityand reliability through the laboratory test.
