The Geo-Environment Assessment Of Yang Cheng Urban Area Of Shan Xi Province

The city is the most concentrated area of human activities, the rapid development of city bings about huge benefit to huuman production and living, and also damages the urban geological environment and causes many environmental problems. In order to protect the urban environment safety, ensure the sustainable decelopment of the city, it is very important to carry out the geological environment assessment.This paper takes the urban area of Yangcheng as the research object, By collecting the base material of the urban geographical environment, the urban geological characteristics, the hydrogeological conditions and groundwater chemical characteristics, field survey and investigation, and analyses the regional geological environment. The research found that the geo-environment problems show up as: complex regional engineering geological conditions of Yinzhuang, Nandi and so on; different levels of geological disasters such as landslide,collapse,ground fissures and unstable slope in the urban area; the mining, industrial area and the main parts of the rivers are seriously polluted; shortage of water resources:the groungwater is high dirt in Baisang and industrial area of Anyang; the water quality is poorer in Baisang. By analying the cause of all kinds of geo-environment problems, concluded that the urban geographical environment, the geological conditions, the coal seam, coal mining and the production and construction of mining and industry are related to the geo-environment problems.The method of urban geo-environment assessment, applies Fuzzy mathematics comprehensive evaluation, combines the practical situation of the urban, from landform conditions, the engineering geological conditions,the hydrogeological conditions and geological disasters four aspects chooses the appraisal factor, establishes appraisal system, utilizes Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine the weight of every appraisal factor and assesses the urban geological environment. The evaluation results show that the geological environment quality of Yangcheng urban area is between medium and better, the geological disasters, complex site soil types, and water pollution are the main problems.According to the evaluation results of the urban geo-environment quality, combining the Overall Planning of Yangcheng, analyse suitable land for the urban development. The scope of planning is suitable for construction and development mainly concentrated in Fengcheng Town, Xihe, the most of Bajiakou and the industrial area of Anyang, the geo-environment quality is good or better in these places, all kinds of buildings are suitable to build. Meanwhile this paper puts forward problems that should be paid attention to in constructing and developing the appropriate land.In the end, this paper puts forward appropriate and effective measures to solve the urban geological environment problems, the purpose is to make the urban sustainable and scientific development.
