Study On The Status Of Environment In Sea Reclamation Of Ningde Nuclear Power Station

Recently, with the development of economy and reduction of land, various regions intensifyreclaiming more land from the sea, which have impacted greatly on the marine environmentaround the project. This paper aims to study the impact of the project on the adjacent marineenvironment by monitoring the different stages’ data of Ning De nuclear power plant andcompleting the following tasks.Firstly, this paper elaborates the basic definition and principles of the reclamation projectafter the introduction of its background, significance, content and route.Secondly, the paper presents the history and current situation of the reclamation land ofdeveloped foreign countries and analyzing the process of three quite large movements ofreclaiming land from sea in china and its environmental effect.Thirdly, the paper studies the impact of the reclamation land on marine environment at NingDe nuclear power station from two aspects of the marine water quality and organisms’ habits, tobe more specific, it researches the water temperature, PH value, suspended substance, dissolvedoxygen, and the samples of phytoplankton, zooplankton, benthonic organism, Intertidalorganisms. Further, by comparing with the historical data of marine Environmental impactassessment made in2006, it analyzes how the process of reclamation land at Ning De nuclearpower station have impacted on the neighboring marine environment and nearby creatures.Moreover, the paper affords the practical proposals and protective measures to control andalleviate the neighboring marine environmental pollution, which provides references for Ning Denuclear power station and Fu Ding city to elevate their management level of sea area.The final conclusions of this paper are as follow:(1) Compared with the survey data of2006environmental evaluation, the survey data in2010. June and December, we found that the construction of Ning De nuclear power plantproject caused certain effect on seawater suspended solids, pH value, dissolved oxygen index, etc.subsequently, construction suspended solids of seawater increases slightly, pH value anddissolved oxygen index become better, and seawater quality reach class ii water qualitystandards.(2) The construction caused relatively obvious influence on the ecological environment ofmonitoring area. After construction, zooplankton, species of benthic and intertidal zonedecreased, biomass and density became lower, dominant species also changed.
