In this paper, aimed at cold heading steel SWRCH22A which was made in a high speedwire rod company, we used the combination of physical simulation and numerical simulation tostudy and calculate the recrystallization phenomena and microstructure evolution in rollingprocess and high temperature interval times.The main researching contents and conclusions:(1)The true strain-true stress curves of different deformation technological conditionswere acquired through single compression deformation experiment and the lfow stress modelwas built subsequently. Using JMA equation, the dynamic recrystallization volume fraction wascalculated and also the calculating model was built.(2)Double-pass compression deformation experiments have been carried out to study thestatic recrystallization behavior. Using stress compensation method, the static recrystallizationvolume rfactions of different deformation technological conditions with various holding timewere determined, and the static recrystallization dynamic equations was built.(3)Using C#software simulated the whole rolling process, combined with the physicalmetallurgy models to calculate critical strain, recrystallization volume rfactions and grain sizeetc.These model values nicely coincides with the test measured value.
