The synthesis and application of Fluoresceins and Diaminofluoresceins was introducedin this thesis.The synthesis of the diaminofluorescein was mainly reported in this thesis.4-Acetamido-3-nitrobenzaldehyde(II) was synthesized from4-acetamidobenzaldehyde(I) bynitration.14-(4-Acetamido-3-nitrophenyl)-14-H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes(III) was synthesizedfrom II and2-naphthol in the presence of1,2-dichloroethane with p-TSA as catalyst.14-(4-Amino-3-nitrophenyl)-14-H-dibenzo[a,j]-xanthene(IV) was synthesized from III byhydrolysis. The terminal product14-(3,4-diaminophenyl)-14-H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes(V) wassynthesized by reduction of IV in the presence of SnCl2-2H2O. All the products werecharacterized by IR.The synthesis of the diaminorhodamine was also studied in the paper. The rhodaminederivative was synthesized from II and3-diethylaminophenol by one-step condensation. Thecompound was characterized by IR.In addition, The synthesis of the diamino-imide porphyrin compounds were studied.Firstly,5-(4-nitrophenyl)-10,15,20-triphenylporphyrin(TPPN1) were synthesized from TPP bydirect nitration in the presence of TFA and sodium nitrite. The5-(4-aminophenyl)-10,15,20-tr-iphenylporphyrin(TPP-NH2) was synthesized by reduction of TPPN1. The two novelimide-porphyrins were synthesized from TPP-NH2and phthalic anhydride, and from4-acetamide-5-nitrophthalic anhydride in DMF solvent under the nitrogen. Their structureswere characterized and confirmed by UV-Vis, IR,1H NMR and MS.
