The Central area in Fanjiachuan oil ifeld, located in the Fanjiachuan townGansu Province, it has stable reservoir, thick reservoir, high abundance of reserves,reserve scale over ten million tons, reaching1003.13x104t,after more than twentyyears development, the degree of reserve recovery is only15.94%, but the compositewater cut up to92.1%, the remaining reserves is843x104t.With the extension of the development time and the improvement of recovery,oil wells set of broken increased, injection patterns was imperfect, formationdamage and other conflicts are arising, underground relations between oil and waterbecame increasingly complex, the distribution of the remaining oi became morecomplexity, oil field development became more and more difficult.How toeffectively improve the ultimate recovery of the old oil ifelds in the situation that thedegree of exploration gradually raise and the quality reserves is declining isparticularly important.This thesis described reservoir structural features,characteristics of the sandbody distribution,reservoir distribution and reservoir character!sties,thenestablished reservoir geological modeling, on the basis of the geological model,combined with historical production data, established and improved the oil reservoirnumerical simulation model. Eventually, this thesis conduct the study on distributionof the remaining oil reserves and remaining oil saturation distribution characteristics,then make technical countermeasures to improve the development effect.
