Energetic coordination compounds of high energy and insensitivity is a hot research in the field of primary explosive, it is also one of the future development of the primary explosive. Because of a large number of C-N, N-N bond, Nitrogen-rich tetrazole compounds have high heat generation, high density and high energy, and because of the aromatic structure, it also has high thermal stability. In this paper, two kinds of energetic complexes were synthesized with5-nitrotetrazolium ammonium as ligand, Cu+2, Fe+2as central metal ions and NH4+as outside cation, and their structure and properties were studied. The main contents as follows:(1)5-aminotetrazole was synthesized with aminoguanidine carbonat by diazotization and cyclization reaction,5-nitrotetrazolium ammonium was prepared with5-aminotetrazole by diazotization reaction, two kinds of energetic complexes of NH4CuNT and NH4FeNT were prepared with5-nitrotetrazolium ammonium as ligand, and the optimal process conditions of them were determines.(2) The molecular structure of these compounds were derived by using elemental analysis, FT-IR techniques, NMR, XRD and XPS(3) Thermal decomposition process of two energetic coordination compounds were investigated by using DSC and TG-DTG, and properties of explosive point, impact sensitivity, friction sensitivity, flame sensitivity, staic sensitivity and explosive velocity were measured.
