Tailor Rolled Blanks(TRB) appear after Tailor Welded Blanks(TWB), meeting the demand for lightweight of automobile. It is produced by flexible rolling and contributes to the absence of weld joints compared with TWB. Meanwhile the effect of work hardening occurs during rolling, which leads to the inhomogeneity of the stored energy distribution. When annealing is carried out, the property varies along the rolling direction of TRB. Therefore, the investigation of the mechanisms and annealing process of CR340TRB can attribute a lot to the further studies and applications.This thesis focuses on CR340TRB. Both experimental and simulated methods were employed to investigate the annealing process systematically. The main research work was carried out as follows:(1) The recrystallization parameters including starting time, lasting time and ending time have been obtained at different conditions due to the analysis and investigations of the mechanisms of CR340TRB during annealing, and these lay the foundation for further investigations.(2) Mechanical property of TRB at different annealing process, which can attribute a lot to industry, were obtained by hardness test and tensile test.(3) The evolution of the second phase particles of CR340TRB was investigated: The constitution and distribution of the second phase particles were analyzed. The sensitivity of second phase particles to annealing temperature and holding time was studied.(4) This thesis focuses the basis technique of CA simulation method including the formation of the origin cold rolled microstructure, the evolution of the microstructure during annealing, the visual emulation technique used Matlab and the programming of a software which can simulate CR340TRB annealing process. These realized the simulation visualization of CR340TRB annealing process.(5) The differences between simulated and experimental results were studied. The reliability of simulation has been validated by experiments, and the CA program which simulate annealing process can deal with the real situation. The data which got from the simulation can attribute a lot to annealing process of CR340TRB.
