With the rapid development of optical storage, organic nonlinear polymerhas a tempting application prospect in the field of optics and optical informationprocessing and other fields with low dielectric constant, high electro-opticcoefficient, easy to make device and so on. Such polymers Structural design andmolecular modification of organic nonlinear polymer is the main contents of thecurrent work, disazo polyphosphazene hasn’t been reported so far. Therefore,several double-azo-containing nonlinear materials will be designed andsynthesized, we will also discuss the relationship between the structure of theside chain and optoelectronic properties.Three new polymeric materials have been prepared, the process is dividedinto two steps:1) Polyphosphazenes and conjugated groups (Carbazole, phenyl)substitution react of nucleophilic;2) Preparation of polyphosphazene containnitro-disazo-phenoxy, polyphosphazene containing2,4-dinitro disazo phenoxyand polyphosphazenes containing2,4-dinitro disazo carbazole ethoxy. The effectsof microwave power and the time during the reaction on yield of the polymerhave been discussed, and determine the optimum conditions. The structures ofthe three kind polymer have been characterized by infrared spectrum (IR) andultraviolet spectrum (UV), and the grafting rate of disazo product has beenmeasured by elemental analysis. The highest yield of the three kind polymer is70.2wt%,72.4wt%,80.3wt%, respectively.The optical conductivity and electro-optic coefficient of three kind disazomaterials have been measured, the optical conductivity is5.50×10-15S/m,8.27×10-15S/m,10.96×10-15S/m, respectively. The electro-optic coefficient is41.3pm/V,78.1pm/V,103.7pm/V, respectively. Among them,2,4-dinitrodisazo carbazole polyphosphazene is the biggest.
