Pneumatic quantitative pouring system has many advantages such as high precision, highstability and easy to automate. In order to get the pneumatic quantitative pouring technologyof a twenty kilograms aluminum alloy casting, and understand the lift pressure, pouringpressure and pouring time of the system, put forward the simulate and optimize study onpneumatic quantitative pouring system.Hydraulics simulation is used. A three hundred kilograms holding furnace was designedby reference to advanced pneumatic quantitative pouring machine abroad. According to theprinciple of geometric similarity, design experimental facility used plexiglass, the length scalewas1:2. Conduct foundational experiment by manual control to explore the relation amongthe parameters of pneumatic quantitative pouring system. Based on the time quantitativemethod, design PLC control system of pneumatic quantitative pouring. Designhuman-computer interaction interface by MCGS. Use the PLC control system to conductoptimize study on pneumatic quantitative pouring system. According to the result of thesimulate experiment, calculate the pneumatic quantitative pouring parameters of the twentykilograms aluminum alloy casting.The results prove that the pouring rate of pneumatic quantitative pouring system raiseswith the increasing of gas flow. When the gas flow is constant, the pouring average velocity isquantity is invariable. When the gas flow is0.35m3/h, the pouring is stable, pressure is easilycontrolled and the pouring time is moderation. The pouring velocity increases two times withthe change of diameter of lift tube from10mm to15mm. The casting efficiency can beimproved by increased the diameter of lift tube properly. The pneumatic quantitative pouringPLC control system works stably, the actions response quickly, simple to operate and disposes malfunction timely. The error of pressure controlling is0.21%, it can meet the controlrequirements. Establish the mathematical model between lift pressure, pouring pressure,pouring time and pouring amount, pouring numbers. Through validated, the error of themodel is1.7%. According to the pressure similarity criterion, Euler Criterion, get thepneumatic quantitative pouring parameters model of twenty kilograms aluminum alloycasting by calculation.
