| Decane diamine was an important raw material of synthetic polyamides and polyamide,which was also known as1,10-diamino decane or1,10a decamethylenediamine. Thesynthesis and development of decane diamine was derived from the production needs of1010nylon resin. PA1010resin were widely used in apparel fabrics, surfactants, all kinds of resin,chemical and other industries, and so decane diamine as a versatile chemical intermediates,which was applied in clothing hot melt adhesive especially.This paper mainly studied three reactions processes: firstly, the sebaconitrile wasprepared by amide dehydration from sebacic acid, and then sebaconitrile hydrogenationsynthesis decanediamine, finally, nylon1010were obtained by sebacic acid and decanediamine melt polycondensation reaction. Structure and performance of sebacic acid andsebaconitrile were investigated by Fourier transform infrared (IR), nuclear magneticresonance spectroscopy (1HNMR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and otherdetection means. The main results obtained are as follows:1ã€The sebaconitrile has been successfully prepared using sebacic and ammonia as rawmaterials under the condition of catalysts. The result showed that the optimal synthesiscondition as follows: the lower temperature region (140-210℃) were favorable for amiditionreaction and the corresponding reaction time is8h, however the dehydration reaction is veryeffective under the higher temperature region (210-265℃) and the corresponding dehydrationtime is5h. ZnO/Al2O3catalysis with mass faction of6%revealed the yield of83%. Thecrude product had been characterized by HNMR and the purity of prepared sebaconitrile was92%via temperament chromatograph, which indicated that the sebaconitrile synthesized inthis paper would have the good value of industrialization.2ã€The decanediamine had been synthesis using sebaconirile and hydrogen as rawmaterials, ethanol as solvent, potassium hydroxide as co-catalysts and raney nickel as the catalyst. The results showed that the optimal synthesis condition as follows: the range oftemperature at80~85℃, reaction pressure on2.1~2.4MPa, stirring speed at800r/min,0.6to0.8%inhibitors potassium hydroxide (Sebaconitrile mass fraction),20μm Raney nickelcatalyst and15%mass fraction. The best yield of decamethylenediamine92%was displayedunder the optimal conditions.3ã€The nylon1010was obtained by high temperature melt polycondensation, withpurified decane diamine and sebacic acid as monomers, water as solvent. The intrinsicviscosity test and differential scanning calorimetry were demonstrated the structure andthermal characterization of the product. The result showed that melting temperature was202℃, the crystallization temperature was173℃, PA1010was decomposed at340℃, whichverify the practicality and commercial decamethylenediamine similar. |
