N-heterocyclic carbenes(NHCs) ligands and metal complexes have significant effects on the synthesis of organic compounds and complexes. In recent years, the applications of NHCs in homogeneous catalysis, antibacterial and antitumor drug have attracted attention to numerous scientists. Moreover, it is a highlight for them to design and synthesize the ligands and complexes with novel structure. In this dissertation, the novel NHCs ligands and metal complexes of Au, Pd with carbohydrate unit are designed and synthesized. There are few compounds was reported in articals.In chapter1, the two new NHCs ligands with carbohydrate unit are synthesized from imidazolium without water or oxygen and under the protection of nitrogen, and the other two new divalent NHCs ligands with carbohydrate unit are also synthesized from imidazolium in hydrothermal synthesis under80℃. Furthermore, their structures are determined by FT-IR,1H NMR,13C NMR, MS respectively.In chapter2, using transfer metallization, we synthesize the two new NHCs Au(I) complexes with carbohydrate unit from NHCs ligands which are synthesized in chapter1and also obtain one of complexes crystal. We characterized their structure by using X-Ray crystal diffraction.In chapter3, the new NHCs Pd complexe with carbohydrate unit are synthesized by the same method in chapter2. What is more, a high yield is obtained. In addition, their structure is determined by FT-IR,1H NMR,13C NMR, MS.
