Nano-titanium dioxide is very potential semiconductor catalysts and attracted alarge of attentions with high chemical stability, corrosion resistance, good catalytic.But there are some difficult in the application of TiO2Photocatalyst. Such as, thephotocatalytic efficiency of pure TiO2is limited;low utilization of sunlight, therecovery difficulties of TiO2powders in practical applications; TiO2powders are easyto reunite because they have large surface energy. These problems make the TiO2limited in wide applications.To solve these problems, titanium dioxide nanofibershave preparated by the electrospinning technique and sol-gel method in this paper.This paper discuss the effect of electrostatic spinning process parameters on themorphology of titanium dioxide nanofibers, and investigated effects of nitrogen-doped, Zn-doped, Mn-doped and and vermiculite compound of titanium dioxide nano-fibers on their morphology and photocatalytic properties.The results show that the voltage of15KV and receiving distance of15cm is forbetter for the electrospinning process, the surfaces of Ti(OCH(CH3)2)4/PVP compositefibers and Ti (OCH (CH3)2)4/PVP composite fibers with nitrogen-doped, Zn-doped,Mn-dopedand and vermiculite-compound are smooth in the diameters of about200±50nm. The nitrogen-doped, Zn-doped, Mn-dopedand and vermiculite compoundof titanium dioxide nanofibers have been obstained after heated. As temperature rise,the surface of composite fibers become coarse and the average diameter of heatedcomposite fibers reduced to100nm.The photocatalysis of composite TiO2have been investigated through thedegradation rate of methylene blue. N-doped titanium nanofibers have goodphotocatalysis, especially this nanofibers prepared by the surface nitriding method hashigher photocatalytic performance in ammonia600oC and urea content of2wt%heating in550oC treatment nanofibers. According to absorption spectrum, the absorption edge occurred red shift compared with pure titanium.The titanium fiberswith2wt%zinc acetate heating in600oC,the degradation rate can reach about80%within100min. The doping Mn-TiO2fiber degradation effect is not ideal and is farbelow the Zn-TiO2and N-TiO2nanofibers;The vermiculite-TiO2which the vermiculite incorporation of2wt%has the bestphotocatalysis. With the increase in the incorporation of vermiculite, the mainadsorption of vermiculite-based, and it will affect the TiO2degradation.
