In recent years, human,s predatory exploitation to environmental resources,whichgreatly damaged the Ecosystem services and threated to the sustainable developmentof human society,economy and ecological environment. Maintenance of ecosystemservices is a common concern of the whole world today.The quantitative study ofecosystem services can make people be aware of the importance of the naturalecosystem and protect the natural ecosystem effectively.in order to achieve thesustainable utilization of natural resources and sustainable development betweenenvironment and economy.At the same time,it can provide a theoretical basis for themanagement of integrated ecosystem,the maintenance of ecological functions,thevalue of existence and the mechanism of ecological compensation.In recent years,Chinese scholars on the study of ecosystem services mostconcentrated in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau,the Northwest Loess Plateau,the blacksoil area of northeast,the mountainous area of Beijing,the island of Hainan,theSichuan region and so on,then the study about Hilly red soil regions in the south ofChina is relatively less.In the comprehensive background,the paper chooses Hilly redsoil region of southern China in Ganjiang River Basin as the researching object.Thepaper comes to meteorological data,soil data,elevation data,remote sensing data andso on.On the basis of model calibration and data processing,using InVEST model toassess the ecosystem services about water supply,soil conservation and carbonstorage in2000,2005and2010.Then comparatively analysising the three servicingcapabilities of the pine forest,broadleaf forest,fir forest,bamboo forest,shrub andeconomic forest.Based on the three key evaluation results in2010,classify thefunctionally importang area and the integrated area by the overlaying tools.At thesame time,determine the prior conservation area.The results of the study are asfollows:(1)On the spatial variation:The average water supply have increased in someplaces,but have decreased in the other places form2000to2005.From2005to2010,itis increased in the whole area.According to the average soil conservation, the status of the two periods is the same.Some places are increased and the others aredecreased.The spatial variation of the average carbon stock is very weak.(2)The quantity:In total,the order of water supplies that each type of forestlandscape amony the three periods is pine forest﹥fir forest﹥broadleaf forest﹥economic forest﹥bamboo forest﹥shrubThe order of soil conservation is fir forest﹥pine forest﹥broadleaf forest﹥economic forest﹥bamboo forest﹥shrub.Theorder of carbon stock is pine forest﹥fir forest﹥broadleaf forest﹥bamboo forest﹥economic forest﹥shrub.(3)Comprehensive ecosystem services:In2010,the area of the three keyfunctions which are important at the same time is1418km2,and it is1.76%of thewhole area. It mainly located in the county of ningdu.It is also the important areawhich the functions of water supply and soil conservation are important in themeantime and it is seen as the most preferred area.
