The Synthesis Of [n-C_nH_2n+1N（CH₃）₃]₂MCl₄and The Measurement And Characterization Of The Chemical Thermodynamic Propetries Of The Related System

The alkylammonium tetrachorometallate (Ⅱ)(CnH2n+1NH3)2MX4(M=Cu、Mn、Zn、Co、Ni，X=Cl、Br)(Can be abbreviated as CnM) is a polymer metal complex. It has a goodpractical as a heat storage material. In order to broaden its range of possible applications,therefore, this paper have a studied on the chemical thermodynamic properties of thesesubstances. the main contents are as follows:(1) A series of [n-CnH2n+1NH3]2ZnCl4(n=10,12,14,16,18) were synthesized in theorganic hot solvent. Eelement analysis, IR spectra, X-ray diffraction and Scanning electronmicroscopy (SEM) were used to characterize them. The thermal performance wascharacterized by DSC.(2) The data of solubilites and CV﹑DSC figure of the ternary system of[C16H37N(CH3)3]2MnC14+H2O+C2H5OH and [C16H37N(CH3)3]2CuC14+H2O+C2H5OH weremeasured by using isothermal equilibrium method. The difference of solvent lead to thedifference of the solution.(3) The formative conditions for complex of copper chloride and cetyl trimethylammonium were studied by uv spectrophotometry, and the molar ratio and stabilityconstant were detected. The ratio of copper chloride and cetyl trimethyl ammonium in thecomplex was1:2and the stability constant was106L2·mol-2.(4) Using an oxygen-bomb combustion calorimeter the molar combustion heats ofthe complex [n-CnH2n+1NH3]2ZnCl4(n=10,12,14,16,18) and CnH2n+1NH2(n=10,12,14,16,18)were determined at(298.15±0.01)K. The standard molar enthalpy of combustion andstandard molar enthalpy of formation were also estimated, respectively.
