Biofilm technology is the theoretical basis of the biological fluidized bed to treat sludge wastewater, which is low power consumption and high efficiency. Sewage or industrial waste water was treated efficiently with the biological fluidized bed by aerobic and anaerobic methods.This experimental research object is the improved three-phase double-loop one unit fluidized bed reactor. The reactor internal and external circulation loops are consisted of a double loop configuration. The reactor is divided into a reaction zone, separation zone and a settling zone. And the volume of the reaction zone is17L; a total volume is46L.Industrial brewery wastewater is as a substrate in the experiment, the experimental process is divided into two stages, which is at12℃~16℃and20℃~22℃to start up the reactor. The operating characteristic of the reactor is researched with the indicators of microbe and index of the effluent water.Experimental results are showed that when the return flow of360ml/min at start-up phase (12℃~16℃) conditions and COD of influent water is at414.2mg/l-1025mg/l, the COD of effluent water is at84mg/1~185mg/l, the removal rate of COD is up to87%-92%; ammonia of the influent water is atl1.45mg/1-31.94mg/l, ammonia of the effluent water is stabilizing at2.17mg/l, the ammonia removal rate is84%; removal rate of turbidity can reach at84%, sludge load is up to0.75kgCOD/(kgMLSS· d), aeration has been controlled at0.25m3/h. At the operational phase (20℃~22℃) conditions, when the COD of influent water is515mg/1-1285mg/l, the COD of effluent water is stabilized under100mg/l, COD removal rate is up to98.46%, the ammonia removal rate is91.41%, removal rate of turbidity can reach up to99%, limiting sludge load is0.47kgCOD/(kgMLSS· d), the limiting volume load1.87kgCOD/(m3· d), aeration has been controlled at0.3-0.4m3/h.Research result is showed that the characteristic of three-phase double-loop one unit fluidized bed is compact structure, low power consumption, high treatment efficiency. When influent COD of high concentration organic wastewater is about1000mg/l, the system of reactor has a stronger resistance capacity to impact loads and restore the water system quickly. At lower temperatures and other harsh conditions, it can also ensure the stable efficiency of wastewater.
